Nerves, anxiety, stress, excitement, and the desire to have it all be over are all things that we are feeling right now. Some of us are nervous, anxious, or stressed because we are taking our Language Proficiency Interview (LPI) tomorrow. Some of us our excited because they took the LPI today and no longer have to worry. Now some of us are excited to take the LPI while some of us are just ready for it to be over. We have been studying and practicing for this interview for about four weeks now. We have all put in so much time, energy, blood, sweat, and tears in order to be ready. Ha, I keep asking myself if I am actually ready. I guess it doesn’t really matter because we have to take it tomorrow ready or not. Although with all the work we have all put in we should be ready and we deserve to do well and pass. We all have the knowledge; we just have to push down our nerves and do work. Tomorrow is the day, the LPI better be ready to be conquered.

Here is a quick background on the LPI. It is an interview to see how much language you have learned. The person who is interviewing you will ask you questions about yourself, your family, what you do for work, what you do for your free time, what you do each day, and anything else they may want to ask during your interview. Than, if you have done that part well you will get a scenario to see your language in a real life situation. After the scenario you will be asked to ask the interviewer a few questions. Once that is done you will be finished with the LPI. It should take about thirty minutes. We have all take a mock LPI so we all know what to expect, however this one is for all the marbles. We should find out next week sometime whether we passed or not. So stayed tuned, if you hear from me I probably passed, until then wish us luck.
